Culinary Team Lead • Build your skills and career by joining a fast growing, well-funded company on the cutting edge of the technology and food industries. • Realize the financial and emotional rewards that come with business and personal success. • Drive high quality food production and delivery by managing our catering partners and our drive ambassadors. - Job Description: - As the Culinary Team Lead (“CTL”), you will be responsible for the oversight and management of daily food production by supervising the catering partners’ kitchen employees and ensuring adherence to Smart Lunches processes. In addition to this integral role in food production, the CTL will also manage the delivery ambassadors to ensure accurate, timely delivery. This successful leader must have the ability to work and focus in a busy food production environment. The CTL should be able to create and maintain a team environment with both our catering partner and our delivery ambassadors and be passionate about making sure every child gets their correct, tasty lunch. - Essential functions and key tasks: - • Oversees production of large quantities of food, by following standardized recipes, within required production schedules, while maintaining preparation and storage sanitation principles. • Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance. • Supervises food service personnel and works in a cooperative manner with all Smart Lunches’ team members, guests, catering partners and client personnel. • Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality) with no restrictions. • Provides leadership and guidance to team members in the preparation and serving of high quality and great tasting meals. • Supervises the delivery ambassador process and provides constructive feedback on areas of improvements. • Has a vehicle capable of delivering large quantities of Smart Lunches’ food, if there is ever a need. • Has a smart phone with the capability to utilize Smart Lunches’ technology. • Able to pass a background check. • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds continuously throughout your shift - Qualifications: - Education and Experience: • 2 years related experience and/or training in food production – ServSafe Certification Required. • High school degree or equivalent. - EMAIL Matthew Camp - email@example.com

We provide a valuable enhanced service to the school, convenience and nutritional security to the parents, and a good lunch to the students. Parents use our web portal to order their child’s lunch from our daily menu, our local catering partners create the customized meal for each child, and our team of Ambassadors hand deliver each meal to our school partners before lunchtime. We are growing rapidly, adding new school partners and new lunchers daily and are adding new regions every year. Job Description: The Regional Sales Representative owns new partner acquisition in their location. The Rep presents the company's unique lunch solution to prospective schools, daycare centers, and summer day camps and signs them up as partners so we can offer our service to their families. Most sales activity will take place over the phone with periodic visits to the marketplace, and the Sales Representative will partner closely with our Regional Chef as the onsite resource. This position is in the Smart Lunches offices in Boston, MA. Compensation will be salary plus commission. The company offers health care, vacation and, with good performance, stock options. As a key member of a rapidly-growing organization, the Regional Sales Representative will be well positioned to take advantage of future promotion opportunities. The Account Manager will work on partner interaction and creating positive and lasting relationships with the schools, providing day-to-day support, ongoing marketing efforts and executing improvements that will prepare the company for explosive growth. Some responsibilities and projects include: •Setting up and preparing new partners for launch: handling all aspects of the launch from collecting the correct information, setting up the account, marketing materials/events, monitoring utilization, educating partner on lunch logistics, placing orders for house accounts, etc. •Ongoing support: point of contact for day-to-day concerns, ongoing marketing efforts and supplying marketing materials, monthly check-in calls with the schools, setting up events & scheduling staff, monitoring order volume and communicating internally, working directly with the parent customers on day-to-day issues. •Taking ownership of 2-3 regions including weekly regional reports, weekly calls with local operations staff, tracking errors & trends, weather related closings & potentially visiting some schools. QUALIFICATIONS We need someone with amazing customer service skills, razor-sharp critical thinking skills, and a bias for action. The first thing we're looking for is prior experience in relevant roles. A college degree would be great, but we're really looking to hear some great stories about how you've delighted customers in the past, and how you've used what you learned to improve a business. Beyond that, here are the key qualities we're looking for: •Terrific customer-facing attitude - high energy, responsive, calm & unflappable, with the special ability to smile through the phone •Must be able to think on your feet to solve problems. Not all of the issues you face will have a clear-cut path to an answer. We'll need you to be able to think independently to come to the solution, while ensuring that processes and policies remain consistent and scalable. •Skilled with computer and online tools like Excel, Google Drive, etc. -- and a quick study to learn those you haven't used before. Particularly useful: Salesforce.com, Basecamp, SmartSheets. •Must be detail oriented and have proven verbal/written communications skills. •High personal integrity, trustworthiness, reliability and confidence HOW TO APPLY Interested?
